Divya Bharti, Shola of Bollywood

Divya Bharti was born in Mumbai his father is  Om Prakash Bharti, who was an insurance officer and his wife's name was Mita Bharti. Divya Bharti had sibling from her father's first marriage, younger brother Kunal and a younger sister Poonam. In her early years, Divya Bharti was known for her playful personality and everyone called her a doll.

Divya Bharti Career

Divya Bharti started her career in films at a very young age, and her efforts started at the age of 14. After several unsuccessful attempts, she made her successful debut in indian film industry Telugu film "Bobbili Raja" in 1990 at age of 16 . In early times, Bharati was given less importance roles.  He got success in her film journey from the Hindi film Vishwatma. He got a different identity from the same film popular song "Saat Samundar Paar Song".

Divya Bharti had success with acclaimed actors like Shah Rukh Khan, Govinda and Rishi Kapoor in films like "Shola and Shabnam" and "Deewana" respectively; She later received a Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut. He acted in more than 14 Hindi films between 1992 and 1993, which became the never-ending record in Hindi cinema.

His last completed films were "Rang" with co-actor Kamal Sadanah, and "Chess" with actor Jackie Shroff, released after Divya Bharti's death.

Divya Bharti faced many difficulties throughout her career, she found herself and managed to make herself a successful landmark in Bollywood. But his mysterious death in 1993 also ended his career.

Divya Bharti Personal Life

Divya Bharti met Sajid Nadiadwala through Govinda in the shooting of Shola and Shabnam and soon the two fell in love with each other. On 10 May 1992, Divya Bharti married Nadiadwala. He accepted the religion of Islam after his marriage and changed his name from Divya Bharti to Sana Nadiadwala.


Divya Bharti Death

On 5 April 1993, around 11 pm, Divya Bharti fell from the fifth floor balcony of her Tulsi apartment in Versova, Mumbai. He was taken to an emergency department at Cooper Hospital where doctors declared him dead.

The immediate cause of death was reported to be a massive head injury and excessive bleeding, but the media circulated several reasons, including falling under the influence of alcohol, suicide by someone, and her husband's involvement with the underworld mafia. Shock covers all of this.

The investigation was carried out by the Mumbai Police in 1998 and the death was reported as accidental death but the real cause of his death remains a mystery even today. He was cremated at Vile Parle Crematorium in Mumbai on 7 April 1993.

Two of Divya Bharti's entire films Rang and Chess were released several months after her death. When he died, he portrayed more than half of the film "Ladla" with Anil Kapoor. But later Sridevi was reprized in her role.

He was also featured in several other films which signed him like Moho, Kaartavya, Vijayapath and Agitha. Her incomplete Telugu film Tholi Mundhu was partially completed by Indian actress Rambha, who was a bit similar to Divya Bharti and therefore completed some scenes from the film for her.

A film based on the life of Divya Bharti, "Love Behind the Border Pipe" was in the line, but was never made.

Even though Divya Bharti is not in our midst today, she is still ruling the hearts of her loved ones.
