Former chief minister of Madhya Pradesh VC Shukla died Tuesday afternoon at a hospital in Gurgaon. He was badly hurt two weeks ago in a Maoist attack Chhattisgarh.
He was hospitalized in Medanta Hospital Gurgaon and a team of 15 doctors had cared for him.The Critical Care, Gastro-Intestinal Surgery and Orthopaedics department doctors are involved.Injured in Maoist attack Shukla was first taken to hospital in Jagdalpur. At the night of May 24 -25 Medanta Air ambulance had come over VC Shukla from Chhattisgarh to Gurgaon.
Serious condition
Medanta hospital said in a statement that bacause of the firing his chest, abdomen and thighs were fractured .And when he reached the ICU of Medanta his condition was very serious.Release stated that despite the operation of the intestines and liver could not be saved.
Medanta Hospital president of the Critical Care and Anaesthesiology institute Yatin Mehta said that, Shukla many organs had stopped functioning. Risk was significantly increased becasue of their age and many wounds of bullets.
Behind Shukla wife and three daughters are Survived .Last week, VC Shukla's health improved dramatically, but an infection caused his condition worsened again.

Shukla eminent lawyer, freedom fighter and was the son of senior Congress leader Ravi Shankar Shukl, which was also the first Chief Minister of reorganized Madhya Pradesh.Shukla was elected nine times for the Loak Sabha. During Indira Gandhi's government he served as Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting and the role of emergency has sparked a controversy too.
During the returning of Congress "Privartan Yatra" maoists had attacked Congress leaders near Gyrum valley district Bastar of Chhattisgarh. In which Shukla badly injured.
Among them,in the attack the state Congress president Nand Kumar Patel Congress leader Mahendra Karma associated with Aauslwa Judum and 28 people were killed, including MLA Uday Mudaliar.
